A square massage pillow that measures 13" x 13" and comes covered with a corduroy fabric material. This pillow is just a bit larger than the single speed pillow. Inside the back of the pillow is a switch that allows you to use it as a single speed or as a pulsating pillow. Pulsating means that the vibration will change so that its not just the same vibration the whole time you use it. With the pulsating pillow you will feel the vibration speed up and slow down. It feels great! The back of the pillow has a zipper stretching accross that allows for the two "D" batteries to be changed very easily. Just unzip the cover, pop out the two "D" batteries and put the new ones inside. The batteries will last several hours of constant vibrating & will not wear down very quickly at all. This pillow operates on batteries, or on an AC/DC (electric) adaptor, pr a DC/DC (car) adapter. When an adapter is plugged into the pillow, the battery operated mechanism automatically shuts off. When an adaptor is being used, it is still necessary to lean against the unit to sctivate the massage action.
